Who are you?
I’m a Commercial Photographer residing on the North outskirts of Brisbane. I Specialise in Corporate Events and Functions, Architectural, Industrial and Commercial photography. I have a love for Fashion photography but it’s more a personal endeavour of my own.
What started you on photography?
My basis for photography was more my love for creating something or telling a story. When I was 8, my mother gave me her Olympus OM-10 SLR and a 50mm F1.8 and let me shoot, I shot a couple of rolls off and from there I fell in love with photography.
What would you describe as your motivation?
For myself, I’m motivated by creating something unique and also styled with something different from the next guy, though like most industries it’s all been done before, but finding your niche is the key I’ve found. My urban images contain a unique look which is hard to find, but needless to say if you look hard enough, you will find some. So from that, I guess my motivation is being separated from the mainstream style and creating my own artworks from the vision I have in my head.
What would you consider your key points?
Ensuring my client is 100% happy is the key to my business ethics. I believe if a client has specific needs that I should be able to cater for them. I always present my work on time with little to no room for error. I find that the best work is work you’ve prepared for. When I receive my job brief, I make continual contact with my clients to ensure that I’ve nothing to second guess on the job.
Are you a member of any photographic societies or groups?
I’m an Emerging member of the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography).
